Blog

I redid my blog, do u like it better now.

Biomes

A biome is an independent system of plants, animals, and land. If you were to put a flamingo or a lizard in the Tundra it will not survive. If you were to put a polar bear in the city, it would die.Climate, altitude, and rainfall also determine a biome.

What is your favorite biome, mine is the Tundra. What is yours?

Recents Polls

The recent polls are in. John MCcain in the nominee for the Republican side. Obama is in the leads for the Democratical side. I think since there are not enough votes for Obama and Clinton that there should be a coin flip. MCcain would flip it because there is equal chance for both candidates.

Wolf Types

There are three main types of wolves. Wolves are important to us because they keep herd amounts in tact. Meaning they kill them so that the herd doesn't get to big. Also they kill but don't eat diseased animals so other animals don't get sick.

Red Wolf:
Red Wolves are the smallest types of wolves. They are the smallest group because people have torched there houses (Forests). Some of these wolves have to mate with coyotes. There are some 300 of these wolves left. only 80 of them are wild, and the other 220 are not wild but either as pets, in zoos, or being researched.

Gray Wolves:
Gray Wolves are the largest group of wolves. They are also called timber wolves. These wolves weigh 100-175 pounds. They are located in the Northern Hemisphere in places such Canada, Alaska, and the region around the great lakes. They are ancestors to domestic dogs.

Arctic Wolves:
Arctic Wolves also like Gray wolves hunt in packs. They inhabit most of the Canadian Arctic and Greenland. They also weigh 100-175 pounds. They keep there cubs with them for two years and then let them go. Arctic wolves are of course white. There white fur helps them hide in the snow so they can hunt easier.

Polar Regions

The polar regions are the smallest and coldest of all the regions. They are located by the North and South poles. The North and South poles are the center of these regions, they are ice caps. It is cold all day and gets colder at night. It is usually snowing there. Penguins and polar bears live there. There are auroras there. These regions are the farthest away from the Equator. But the Gobi desert is a rare occasion where it is close to the equator but is cold.

Ideal Climate

My idea of nice climate is cold and high altitude. Somewhere in the mountains where it is always raining and most of the time. Also that it would be dark. That is my idea of a nice place to live. What is yours?

Wolves

Wolves are so cool. They usually live in high, rocky, and cold places. They run really fast and are always in groups. When they hunt they try to ambush an animal by chasing int one way and then biting it down from a hiding spot. they are 1.2 to 1.2 meters long. They run really fast and have really sharp teeth

Jumper

Jumper is such a cool movie. It is about several people who can jump anywhere in the world. But then there are theses people who want to kill/stop them so they (the jumpers) have to escape. I watched it as soon as it came out

Recent Polls

The recent polls are in. Obama leads Clinton by 74 points. MCcain leads by 697 points over Huckabee. If were Huckabee I would have dropped out already, because it is pointless to fight MCcain when he is about 200 points away from being the nominee. If I was Clinton's manager I would advise her to donate money to the sick, orphans, and charity, because then more people would believe she leads to a better world. I would also advice her to lower gas, taxes, and Co2 ignition. Co2 ignition equals greenhouse effect, and greenhouse effect causes global warming.

Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks:
When Rosa Parks was young she had to deal with a lot of racial discrimination. When her parents broke up Rosa went to live with her mother to Pine Level, Alabama. Her grandparent were former slaves and protected Rosa when the Ku Klux Klan walked down the street. Rosa attended segregated school . She dropped out of high school at 11th grade to be with her sick grandmother. She never went back and got a job in a shirt factory. She later married a barber named Raymond Parks. With her husbands help Rosa got her high school degree. She eventually became the secretary for president Nixon. When Rosa Parks wouldn't give her seat up for a white man. Rosa worked with Martin Luther King Jr. on the Civil Rights movement. And she worked against racial discrimination.

President/Vice President

Who do you think will be president and vice president. I think Clinton will win president because she has a strong base. And even though she won't end the war in Iraq I still think that will still win. I believe Obama will be vice president. He also is a man of great leadership. IF either Obama or Clinton will they will both set a record. Both Obama and Clinton are democrats. Me and my family are also democrats.

Science Fair

My science fair project was about how distance will affect signal volume. I built a radio transmitter that sends out radio waves. You need to tune it to a frequency before you can turn it on. Radio waves, like all other waves, weaken as they go further away from the epicenter.
